The Women and Diversity in Law Awards 2025
Tuesday 18 March 2025, Hilton Bankside

We have been inundated with nominations for the 2025 Women and Diversity in Law Awards and would like to thank everyone for participating in this process.

The list of nominees will be published next week – watch this space.

The next stage of the awards timetable will see us invite the nominees to submit entries for consideration by our judging panel. The deadline for entries, which take the form of short questionnaires which have been carefully framed to allow for a fair judging process, is 7 November. Click here for further information about the judging process, and here for a list of this year’s winners.

The awards are divided into three sections. In the first half, Outstanding Women Leaders and Outstanding Women Practitioners will be recognised. The second section addresses diversity more broadly, seeking to highlight the stand-out initiatives, businesses, not-for-profits and individuals across its different strands.

We are delighted to confirm that the official charity for the awards is the legal mental health charity LawCare.

The judging panel is made up of recognised experts, campaigners and business leaders. The judges include Deputy High Court Judge and former Linklaters partner Alexandra Marks, Sophie Breuil, head of diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging at CMS, Lesley Wan, general counsel & whistleblowing officer, All Africa Capital, and Herbert Smith Freehills’ CEO Jason D’Agostino.
