Rachel Walker is General Counsel & Chief Administrative Officer (Europe) at GLP Capital Partners where she set up the in-house Legal, Compliance and Governance function when she joined in 2014. She oversees the Legal, Governance, Risk and Regulatory programmes, as well as Marketing and Communications and GLP’s Luxembourg team.

Rachel is passionate about talent development and initiated GLP Europe’s pan-European mentoring programme as well as the “G-Academy” talent development programme for her team. She is an active member of GLP’s DEI&B group, and chairs GLP Europe’s Charity Committee.

Rachel has a law degree from Oxford University and prior to GLP she spent 10 years at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP. Previously she has contributed to publications of the International Comparative Legal Guide to Real Estate and other legal journals.
